On 27th April, I will be diving out of a plane at 15,000 feet and freefalling for 60 seconds at approximately 120 miles per hour, before parachuting to the ground at Dunkeswell Airfield. This is the highest possible skydive you can do without an oxygen supply!
I have decided to jump in aid of Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) and hope to fundraise as much as possible in support of the fantastic work they do in Mid-Devon.
For those who don’t know, CHAT work tirelessly to give free housing support and advice as well as providing a foodbank for those in need, including the homeless and vulnerable. Here's a link to their website for more detail.
CHAT is a not for profit organisation and it relies upon the generosity of others to keep doing the amazing work it does. At the moment they need to maintain a fund of £15,000 to support the Deposit Guarantees that they provide to landlords on behalf of their clients.
They also need continuing donations to enable them to provide emergency accommodation and financial assistance in cases of severe hardship, as well as food donations to keep up the stocks of their well-used and much appreciated foodbank.
