Team Fundraisers
This year I've decided to run for a small charity, The Ipswich Blind Society, who do fantastic work with a diversity of visually impaired people in the local area.
As a result I will be running in the following events.
BUPA Great North Run 15th September.
Perkins Great Eastern Run 13th October.
BUPA Great South Run 27th October.
Following a fall it was discovered that my grandmother had macular degeneration. The Ipswich Blind Society provided great support for both my grandmother and the family in coming to terms with her condition, they have enabled granny to live with AMD rather than suffer from AMD.
Through their fortnightly club she has made new friends who understand her condition and are able to offer support.
