So I have decided that I am going to run the Bath Half Marathon this year and I've chosen to run it for Bath City Farm!
I've always wanted to run it but never had any motivation to do it, but now I am going to give it a go.
I've chosen to run to raise money for the farm because firstly, my brother Jamie used to love going up there and as a result of that his memorial garden has been built up there so our family and friends use that as a place to go to remember him. Secondly, my youngest brother Liam is absolutely crazy about animals and loves pigs in particular so having it just up the road from where we live is perfect for him. And lastly, I've seen what the farm used to be - just a run down bit of land with no reason to visit - to what it is now. It's amazing the work that they do up there, taking care of the animals and making it such a great place for families to visit - and it's all free!
I have never done anything like this so it is going to be a massive challenge but it will be totally worth it. I hope people can get behind me and donate for a great cause.
