Hello Champions,
I am running the Bristol 10K with my awesome housemate Beth who works at St Werburghs City Farm!
The farm is building a centre on site with 3 new classrooms and a training kitchen and they need to raise £10,000 to purchase furniture and a kitchen to fit out the centre for immediate usage from June onwards! It is a brilliant development upon an already existing haven that nurtures families and offers life skills to disadvantaged adults and children. So great!

Why the community needs the farm:
St Werburghs City Farm is a green oasis situated in neighbourhoods of Bristol which fall within the 2-10% most disadvantaged areas in the UK. It welcomes over 55,000 family visitors annually, and last year the Farm also supported 3,225 vulnerable children and adults, equipping them with skills to lead heathier lives and find employment. But the Farm's current single dedicated teaching space is running at capacity and has waiting lists. The new classrooms will allow them to double the help they give!
Impact of the Connection Centre on the community:
Every pound you can give today to open the Connection Centre classrooms will mean the Farm can more than double the good given to the community, helping another 80,000 children and adults over the next 10 years.
I'll do all the leg work with the running team and it would be mighty great if you could offer a few pounds which will change so many lives in and around Bristol.
