I am the Founder and the Manager at Our Place Community Hub. Our organisation is a Community Interest Company that works within the Sutton Coldfield community providing a range of advice and support services for children and families.
We also run a very successful but very over stretched Mentoring Scheme for children and parents that are in need of social and emotional support. We deliver group and one to one sessions for individuals dealing with issues from low self confidence, bullying and anger management difficulties through to those that are suffering from neglect, homelessness, depression or are self harming.
Each year I take on a new challenge to raise vital funds to keep our project running and enable us to help many many children/families that are suffering with a whole range of difficult circumstances.
I have done abseils, fun runs, zip wires but the Suffering is going to be by far the most difficult challenge for me yet!
