Hello, Firstly thank you for visiting our page :) Myself and my friend Renata are 'attempting' to ride 54 miles on Sunday 11th September for the 'London to Brighton' bike ride 2016.....as usual training has gone out the window, and on top of this we will be using mountain bikes...so all in all this is going to be very challenging!! We hope to be able to sit down come Monday morning ;) To make the most of this opportunity... we will be raising money for a great charity 'SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime' I started working for SAFE! nearly a year ago and its truly a fantastic charity which really does make a difference to lots of young people's lives on a day to day basis....there is a bit more about us below....... We would all be so very grateful for any pennies that you can spare - no amount is too small!!! - SAFE's support relies on donations through fundraising events such as these. Thank you so much for your support and generosity as always :) xxxx SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime works with young people aged between 8 and 25, who have been harmed by crime or bullying. We work across the Thames Valley, where we have a team of professional project workers with backgrounds in social work, counselling, probation and education who offer one-to-one therapeutic sessions to young people. The service we offer empowers young people to begin to feel safe again, recover their confidence and develop resilience so they can thrive and return to a happy childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. The service provided by SAFE! is completely free of charge. To find out more please look on our website: safe@safeproject.org.uk
