I lost my father-in-law, Bob Harvey, to suicide in October 2019. This devastating event shook my family to its very core. In the immediate aftermath, through speaking to friends who had lost loved ones to suicide, my wife Theresa was put in contact with The Tomorrow Project. The support that they provided for her and subsequently my mother-in-law, Janet Harvey, has been invaluable in helping us as a family work through our loss.
I'm a 46 year old man. Like many, I'm not great at talking about my worries and concerns, but I'm better than I ever used to be. Losing Bob hit home to me just how important this is. Men need to talk. We all need to talk. The Tomorrow Project are there to help.
I am doing a self supported cycle ride from London to Edinburgh and back to London - a total of 1519km. I have 125 hours to complete the ride. If you are able to donate to this it would be fantastic. Any donation will be humbly and gratefully received, and every pound raised will help support The Tomorrow Project.
Many thanks, Ash.X.
Hope the ride went well, looking forward to hearing all about it.
A great cause x Beth York
Super proud of you, you’re an inspiration to us all! Big love xx
30 minutes until I start - can’t quite believe I’m already only £30 off my target. Thank you all - you are amazing. X
£1 for every hour your arse in in that saddle. I think that is fair enough. It was difficult last time. I am not sure it will be any easier this time. With you all the way. My thoughts are with you xx
