For the 90th birthday of BGC Wales we, Isabell and Job (the European Volunteers in the head office of BGC Wales) decided to take part in the 90@90 Challenge. One thing that we appreciate a lot in Wales is the beautiful nature and the lovely valleys! Unfortunately the level of pollution in these areas is huge due to the many people who carelessly throw their garbage into the nature. To fight this we challenged ourselves with the project: ‘Let’s Clean Your Valleys’. In June and July 2019 we want to collaborate with boys and girls from member clubs. While breathing fresh air and being physically active, we will pick up as much garbage as possible. This will contribute to a cleaner environment and a better understanding for protecting the nature.
