What do you do at SPACE?
At SPACE we aim to provide a safe space that you can be yourself in and get information and support on LGBT+ issues. It is a chance to meet and make new friends. We chat, cook, have fun, play games, get involved with local community projects, raise awareness and celebrate key events on LGBT+ calendar we also invite guest speakers, go on trips and so much more!
The groups are all young person-led so you tell us what you want in the sessions and we aim to make it happen!
What do you do at Outer SPACE?
Outer SPACE is an off shoot from our already established SPACE youth group located in central Bath and we are responding to the growing needs of LGBT+ (10-25yrs) to provide a similar set up within the Somer Valley area.
Outer SPACE is the place to…
- Meet like minded peeps, make new friends and a place where you can be you
- Share experiences and find helpful resources on LGBT + issues
- Do creative stuff like rainbow crafts, arts, cooking, eating and enjoy fun times
We run Outer SPACE fortnightly Mondays 6pm - 8pm in the Somer Valley Area. (Venue details to be given out at time of enquiry.)
What do you do at SPACE to Be?
Space to Be provides a safe environment for children under 13, who may be LGBT+, gender non-conforming, trans or questioning or unsure of their identity.
LGBT+ Counselling
As well as the weekly groups, we can also offer one to one sessions.
This is a one to one space where you can chat to us about anything that may be affecting you because of your sexuality or gender identity. We will listen to you, and offer you help/ support with any issues you may have. You can meet us at our offices in Bath, or we can come to your school, college or university- whatever you’d prefer.
