Liam Rocks Snowdon 2016

Hey everyone, Liam here! On the 14th December I'm joining 13 others to put on the highest gig in the country this Christmas, the summit of Mt Snowdon!! We are doing this to raise money for WAYC a registered youth charity that is doing a lot of work around young people with mental health illnesses. Did you know that right now that approximately 3 young people in every classroom have been diagnosed with a mental health illness, 1 in 10 young people in the UK actively self harm and 50% of all lifetime cases of mental health begin at 14 WAYC does some amazing work supporting young people affected by illnesses such as depression and anxiety. The Sharp Minds project helps create inclusive environments where young people who are struggling with these issues can meet with others who understand and also experiencing these illnesses. The result is positive relationships form; young people are no longer isolated; they have friends they can turn to and who support them and can support them in turn. So this is why we are doing this!
