Pillow have joined forces with Life Changing Activities with an aim of raising £5000 for Phoenix Bereavement Support who work tirelessly to support bereaved children and their families throughout the local area. We are going to spend 2 days pushing ourselves way out of our comfort zones with a weekend packed full of Kayaking, puzzle solving, navigating, rock climbing, abseiling, caving, wild camping and high rope challenges. It wont be easy but we wanted to do something that recognises the huge and sudden change that goes with bereavement. When a child loses a parent, sibling or another close family member - their lives are turned completely upside down and they suddenly find themselves having to live outside of their comfort zone and find a new kind of normal and this is where Phoenix comes in. 
What we are doing is absolutely nothing in comparison to what these amazing children and their families go through and is only 2 days out of our lives but hopefully we can raise an amazing amount to help Phoenix continue the incredible work they fo and make this available to even more people.
