Somehow I thought it was a good idea to say I would take part in a Spartan Race 5K in September and imagine my joy when I realised it's on my birthday too!
Please think of me as I will be clambering under,over, around and through various obstacles, braving the elements (and mud I suspect) and trying to finish the race with my team-buddies without losing an eye or a limb.
Better still, please sponsor me (to take part, rather than per injury) so I can battle on in spartan style knowing that it's worth the effort as the money is going to a fantastic local charity, SexYOUality. They do great work with LGBT young people in Cambridgeshire, tackling homophobia, supporting young people, educating and challenging stigma.
