We are running the Birmingham International Marathon on October 15th to raise money for EGO Performance Company, a charity very close to our hearts. As parents of young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, we have experienced first hand the truly inclusive nature, and life changing potential of EGO.
EGO offers a safe and affordable place for people of all ages and abilities to develop their creative skills in theatre, music, comedy and film.
Placed in the heart of Coventry, EGO also provides a fantastic venue for charities to come together and achieve valuable goals.
Currently developers are trying to purchase the building, and so EGO are trying to raise funds in order to keep the venue they have worked so hard to create for the community.
Since their beginnings just over 10 years ago, over 200,000 people have been involved with EGO as audience members and participants. EGO has without doubt had an enormous impact and indeed changed the lives of so many.

This is why we are slogging through a whole 26.2 miles to raise much needed funds but also awareness of this fantastic organisation, so please dig deep people and support us!
