I have chosen to put myself through the torture of training for this half marathon in order to raise money for Parenting special children. This is a small local charity that supports children who have disabilities including autism and ADHD as well as children who have experienced trauma. I am not a natural runner and so a half marathon is a massive challenge but I know that this charity can be "a life saver" which motivates me to persevere and aim to reach my goal.
