Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Wales - a National Voluntary Youth Work Organisation founded in the 1920's - has progressed and developed into becoming one of the leading youth work providers in Wales. This year the Organisation celebrates its 90th Birthday and each staff member intends to raise at least £90 to mark the occasion. I have worked for BGCWales for 53 years and know first-hand of the great work that is carried out. After recently completing the Great North Run my niece, LUCY HOSKEN from Cornwall, has agreed to run on my behalf in the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 7 October 2018, to help raise funds for BGCWales. Thank you Lucy! Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE - Delighted to report that Lucy completed the Cardiff Half Marathon in a personal best time of 2:04:49 and, to date, a total of £512.50 (online and offline) has been raised. Your support is very much appreciated.
