We're planning a tour of art exhibitions, workshops & performances to raise awareness of & reduce stigma surrounding Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). BPD is a very stigmatised condition & there's no support on the NHS for those with it in Derby! Sufferers have low self-esteem, difficulities with relationships & seemingly irrational responses to minor events that can be harmful or life threatening. Increasing understanding of how to support people with BPD will improve & could save lives!

Raise awareness of and reduce stigma surrounding BPD, Reduce isolation of those with BPD, Signpost people in need of BPD support to relevant services, Improve relationships between BPD sufferers and their carers/loved ones, Highlight the need for BPD NHS services, Strengthen and enrich the local community by providing creative activities and events for the community, Increase confidence and foster creativity in all who get involved with our workshops, Challenge the elitism of art culture.
