Team Fundraisers
This September, I will be joining a team of twenty-one people who are setting off from Rome to cycle the 1400 miles back home in just two weeks.
We plan to pedal north along the mountainous coastline from Rome to Genoa before heading due west to Monaco. From there, we will cycle from Southern France to the Northern tip at Cherbourg before taking the ferry back to Poole.
This enormous challenge has been organised by The Steve Bernard Foundation, a sporting foundation set up in memory of a young sports star from Bournemouth who tragically lost his life in a car accident in November 2005. His family and friends set up the foundation to raise money for worthy sporting causes.
I will be riding in aid of hArt and have promised to match any funds raised to support The Steve Bernard Foundation.
Please do give generously – it is a seriously enormous challenge and hArt would love to be able to use this opportunity to help fund some of the amazing projects they have planned.
