Our Martial Arts activity is provided through the employment of a qualified instructor from Matt Fiddes Martial Arts School and accommodates children and young people from age 3 upwards, Programmes are offered for 'Mighty Matts' aged 3-6 and Juniors aged 7 and above. Leadership classes are offered to those young people who have advanced through their learning and are ready to take on more complex learning.

Through our experience in working in Pevensey Ward in Bognor Regis for seven years, which is in the top 20% of the most deprived wards in the UK and has the third highest child poverty in West Sussex, we have identified a real need to provide an activity which will help children and young people to gain confidence, respect for themselves and others, reduce anti-social behaviour and deter bullying. Aiming to improve confidence and self esteem, to help young people to advance in other areas of their lives, development of respect for themselves and others, make new friends', a reduction in anti-social behaviour and the activity is excellent way to participate in a very disciplined activity which also aims to improve general health and wellbeing.
