Maxine's Summer Challenge

Hi everyone This summer I will be doing a tandem skydive! I will jumping out of a plane at 13,300 ft and freefalling at speeds of 120mph. All of this is in aid of WAYC who recently visited my school and did an assembly. WAYC are a youth work charity that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged young people living in Warwickshire and Coventry. For over 60 years they have inspired young people, supported youth clubs and groups and trained up youth workers so that young people can get access the best service. They are currently doing a lot of work with young people who have been taken or forced out of their homes and Sharp Minds project works with young people who have been diagnosed with mental health illnesses.
