Megan Rocks Snowdon 2016

Hi everyone, this is Megan :) This Christmas I will be joining a small group of musicians and singers and we will be playing the highest gig in the country...on the summit of Mount Snowdon!! After doing a gig in Rugby Town on Saturday 10th December, that Wednesday (14th) we will set off to Wales and will climb Snowdon dressed in our awesome Santa outfits. At the top of the mountain we will then play a festive gig featuring some of the best Christmas songs ever written!! We are doing this to raise money for WAYC. A local charity that supports vulnerable young people living in Warwickshire and Coventry. The money raised will be divided amongst their four core areas of work with young people; 1) diagnosed with mental ill health 2) living in care (supported accommodation) 3) not in education, employment or training 4) living in areas of high deprivation. Each year their team of professional youth workers does an amazing job working with hundreds of young people around the county on a 1:1 and a group basis.
