Weekly meetings throughout the year, for up to 40 participants - people with dementia, their carers, volunteers and visitors coming together to sing and enjoy each other's company, make new friends, led by Rowena Whitehead.

Why they need our service

Dementia can be very isolating, both for those living with the condition, and their carers and family members. Singing has proven benefits for health and well-being, particularly of those with dementia. The Memory Notes is about inclusion, building friendships and sharing the joy of music

Plan and expected results

Every week up to 40 people come together for The Memory Notes - feedback from participants tells us that its a highly valued service, with a growing demand; we're looking to expand the provision in the near future.
