My name is Tony I am a local small business owner. My main job is running a Design & Print management agency mi-media.co.uk, but my passion lies in helping the wider community.
I am part of a community incentive called Get Fit Reading. We are host fund raising events motivated by our friend Anthony, who has recently underwent a leg amputation and was eager to get back into the gym, where he trains, to build his strength, self-esteem and also to make and reach personal goals.
The events will be held gyms around Reading, all runners are welcome to join in the fun. The main aim is to raise awareness about the limitations and obstacles that can sometimes stand in the way of disabled people when wishing to take part in everyday physical activities and is a sponsored run called ’NO LIMITS' - a 70mph Challenge Run taking place on 7 running machines being used by as many runners as possible (simultaneously)for one hour. visit mi-lifestyle.com for more info.
Give a Child a Chance has helped many local charities and community groups over the years our own included and this is a way of giving something back - The reverse of social responsibility - Corporate responsibility, a thank you gesture to Berkshire Community Foundation and their Corporate Associates, all of whom help community incentives and charities to deliver the priceless work they do.
