I work as a Macmillan nurse in the community team, on the bank at John Taylor Hospice since retiring from full time employment as a community Macmillan nurse. I am running the Birmingham BUPA 1/2 marathon on 19th October 2014, to raise funds for the Hospice which provides care & support for patients with life limiting illnesses & their families. This care & support is given in the hospice & in the patient's own home, nursing or care home.
John Taylor hospice has recently become a social enterprise, so depends on charity donations for day to day running. Therefore please dig deep & sponsor me for as much as you can, so we can continue providing our high quality care in the future.
