Midsummer Night's Walk

On a midsummer's night (22nd June) A Band of Brothers will be conducting a walk from sunset to sunrise, from Seaford to Eastbourne via iconic Sussex countryside. We are a mentoring organisation who work with young men and provide a permanent community.

Our meeting place is Seaford Beach (by Dane Road), at 9:30pm 22nd June, and we will start walking at 10pm, through the night, until sunrise. We then go over Seaford Head, up the river Cuckmere to Exceat Farm, back down the Cuckmere to meet the Seven Sisters and then on to Beachy Head where we will see the sunrise on midsummer’s night and then walk over Beachy Head, completing our walk in Eastbourne. The whole journey will finish around 5am.

This is a great opportunity to spend time as a community and with A Band of Brothers men, plus many other charities and individuals from a wide community. You are invited to raise money through donations and sponsorship for A Band of Brothers and other associated charities as there will be a team offering support during the process, plus some refreshments along the way at specific points. At each of these locations will be the opportunity to gain transport to a town, or the finish line. We will have hot food and drinks at the finish line too.
