Mia's Wood first fundraising effort- an intrepid team of six leading the way for many more fundraising activities... Simon Elcock (Mia's father), James McIntosh (her uncle) and Jamie Balderston, Simon Hannam, Paul Margiotta, Aaron Peck (family friends). The team and their loyal supporters braved icy winds and snow to complete the course on a blustery wet Mother's Day 2013, and raised over £3500 - a fantastic result!
Why they need our serviceAll funds raised will go towards more trees and plants for Mia's Wood, such as a willow tunnel, a wildflower meadow and a picnic area, as well as planting and the necessary embellishments to create those special nature nooks to encourage children to explore nature more deeply.
