Greentop Circus is the leading centre for circus training in the North of England. Due to increased demand for our service our current building does not offer sufficient capacity for us to accommodate all of the training provision we would like to provide. Currently we often have to sacrifice the availability of training space for artists to enable us to provide training for others. Currently we are also unable to provide the quality of facilities that we would like to be able to provide.

Circus is one of the most accessible art-forms. Its visual and entertaining nature appeals to people from all ages, cultural groups and class segments. As an artform that originated in the UK it is very much part of our cultural heritage. Our mission is provide circus training that will help artists to develop to the extent that they can produce work that will become some of the best in the world. More and higher quality facilities are needed to enable us to achieve this.

In the short term we are looking for the donation of space to accommodate some of our ofice, storage and training needs. Longer term we are looking for financial donations that would enable us to purchase, equip and refurnish a new larger building.
