On Thursday 16th June 2022, I will be hiking up Mount Snowdon in Wales as part of a team in support of OSCAR Birmingham and raising awareness of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia.
This charity is a organisation that supports children, young people and families who living with these chronic blood health conditions with children 300 times more at risk of having a stroke and other health life threatening complications such as sepsis.
Your donations will help the charity over the next 6 months to:
- Support 50 families experiencing poverty and hardship by providing baby essentials and care packages.
- Help the charity organise a holiday programme for up to 100 children this summer who live with this invisible illness.
