Hi :) My name is Naomi, and I have taken on this challenge to walk 25 miles through London on 11th October!
What am I doing?
We are walking 25 miles through London starting at 4am! The first 15 miles are with a small group of us, then for the last 10 miles we are joining a huge organised event, put on by CLASP. There is more about this here: http://www.claspcharity.com/walkingoutofdarkness.htm
Why am I doing this?
Through my own mental health struggles over the past years, close friends and knowing lots of others who have - including people who have Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), I want to help break down stigma surrounding mental illness in general and to raise money for Borderline Arts.
What is Borderline Arts?
Borderline Arts is a new charity based in Derby, founded by the wonderful Sarah Eley! They raise awareness and tackle stigma surrounding Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) - a severe and enduring mental health condition. Not many people know anything about it, so I want to support their work. To top things off it is all through theatre and art!! You can read more about Borderline Arts here: www.borderlineart.co.uk
How can you help?
Please sponsor me! Any donation large or small really will make a big difference. If you are a UK tax payer, please ensure you tick the gift aid box!
