As one of the people lucky enough to be involved in a small capacity in the creation of Wokingham Food Bank, and seeing what a huge difference it is making to the lives of those in our local community, it's time to try and give something back.
The Prudential Ride100 is an annual cycling event established in 2012, after the success of the Olympic Road race and building on the success of Sir Bradley Wiggins, and being a bit of a cycling nut, i've thrown my hat (or rather my saddle) into the ring for this year's event.
It's a 100 mile ride around London, following basically the same route as the 2012 Olympic Road Race, and is an ideal opportunity for me to do some fundraising for an organisation that is close to my heart.
