This one is for Elli,
24th January 2022 the beautiful Elli took her own life, she was my son's girlfriend and a welcome addition to our family. Elli was part of our lockdown bubble and joined us on holidays, day trips and poker nights, anything we suggested she would be up for it! Good times x
Elli had a natural talent for sport and excelled in anything she chose to do. Her mum kindly said that my endeavours into long distance triathlon had sparked her imagination and that she hoped to do an Ironman herself one day. It would be fair to say I am far from Ironman ready but I will turn up to the start line and dedicate the day to Elli, her amazing mum, family and friends.
Throughout this tragic time The Tomorrow Project reached out to Elli's friends and family providing support for the community. As we approach difficult times financially I am loath to ask for donations, but wish to raise awareness of the outstanding work The Tomorrow Project do, along side all the other suicide support groups and charities in the UK. If you are able to make any donation, however big or small I know it will be invaluable to those who need it. The Tomorrow Project is part of the Harmless Charity.
