Leeds Half-Marathon for Halifax Choral Society

For almost two centuries Halifax Choral Society has been a great cultural pillar of the mid-Pennines. Today, the Society sings to a professional standard under the inspiring leadership of Music Director and renowned conductor John Pryce-Jones. Singing in the choir is a passion and near vocation - with a strong steer always to give our audiences a truly convincing musical experience. Of course, we also manage to have fun along the way! Our bicentenary season (2017/18) will be marked with a number of special concerts. To help raise funds - and the Society's profile - I will (for the second time!) run Leeds Half Marathon, this year on 14th May 2017. As a longstanding barefoot runner I intend to complete the Run barefoot once again UPDATE: I completed the event successfully (and barefoot!) in 2hours 27 minutes - a small improvement over 2016's time (2hr 30min).
