In the next month Peter Hewins (aged 46, consultant nephrologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital) will be running in:
* 2 half marathons
* 1 twenty mile race
* 1 10K in Sutton Park
..................................and then finally the LONDON MARATHON in April!
Peter has run in the past for Clic Sargent , NSPCC and The Kidney Association. This year he wanted to run for a local charity and picked Our Place as his wife works for the charity and he has seen first hand all the fabulous work they do for the local community.
All of the funds raised for Our Place will go straight into delivering social, emotional and mental health support for children and adults in the local Sutton Coldfield community.
Issues such as domestic violence, family breakdown, stress and trauma are all supported through the work of Our Place which is highly relient on donations and grants to continue supporting those that are most in need.
