Streets2Homes is a Harlow-based charity which focusses on helping the homeless in Harlow and environs. Each year they hold a sponsored SleepOut, - a one-night event in which volunteer 'rough sleepers' spend a night in the Churchyard of St Mary at Latton. This year I am joining them - and I hope that you will be able to help me help them! What happens to the money raised? S2H provide a safe and friendly environment in which the homeless can be assisted in a number of ways, including finding accommodation. The Streets2Homes day centre provides a place to access housing advice, social contact, training sessions, employment advice, health services, washing facilities, food, clothing, general guidance and support.
