I became a mother at nineteen and am now the proud owner of two beautiful children aged seven and nine. Four years ago I decided that I needed to start working on some of those other life goals (I once had) starting with university. As well as FINALLY graduating this year, I am determined to run the London marathon and raise money for a VERY worthy charity in the process. I will be raising money for Re:Store Northampton who support thousands of vulnerable people. I have had the pleasure of volunteering for Re:Store and the team are the most kind and selfless people you will ever meet. The projects they offer range from crisis support, providing food and necessities to those suffering from unforeseen economic hardship, to longer term support work in the form of sharing skills and giving emotional and practical support. Small charities like this are so heavily depended on and rely solely on donations so please donate if you can! If running 26.2 miles isn’t enough for you, donate for my poor bladder that can barely make it to 10k.
