I will be doing a sponsored Fancy Dress Day.
What does that involve?
I will be working in my local One Stop from 3pm to 11pm in fancy dress to raise money for Norwich Pride.
Who is Norwich Pride?
Norwich Pride is a celebration from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community for everybody. Our vision is to turn Norwich into a rainbow. Our mission is to ensure that we live in a city where everyone can feel safe and proud to be themselves. We work positively and creatively to overcome intolerance and prejudice of any kind.

Norwich Pride is a free event held in the centre of Norwich.

Friday, 26 June 7pm : The official Norwich Pride Guide Launch Party at The Birdcage! Join Norwich Pride and local band Dandelion & The Rockets for the official launch to Norwich Pride 2015 and get your hands on a freshly printed copy of this year’s Pride guide. Afterwards, head over to Flaunt on Prince of Wales Rd to keep the party going!
Tuesday, 21 July 7:30pm : Puttin on the Ritz. Now’s your chance to see Puttin’ on the Ritz at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday 21 July 2015 at 7:30pm. The show features Strictly Come Dancing stars Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff who will be waving to us from the Theatre Royal balcony during Saturday’s Pride parade! Thursday, 23 July 7pm : Sing With Pride Choir & Friends Rehearsal. Join the Sing With Pride Choir on Thursday 23rd July, 7 – 9.30pm for their rehearsal at St Margaret’s Church of Art, St Benedict’s Street. If you’d like to take part, please email info@singwithpride.org.uk.
