Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
On June 19th I'm planning to complete the 'Race to the King', a 53 mile ultramarathon across the South Downs from Arundel to Winchester. I've decided to run it in aid of Chiltern Music Therapy who specialise in music therapy for people of all ages and different needs across the UK. They're a really innovative, research-driven charity and have done fantastic work with my cousin Emma whose parents, Judith and Rob, had this to say about the impact of their work:
"Although she has severe learning difficulties, music has always been an essential part of Emma's life. She especially enjoys listening to jazz and songs from her favourite musicals. She responds well to one on one music sessions given weekly by Chiltern Music Therapy. By taking part, through actively playing on percussion instruments and intensive interaction with her therapist she is enabled to express herself by experiencing a wide range of sounds. It is her way of communicating with the world around her, and has enormous value for her quality of life. We as her parents are deeply grateful for the fantastic work of Chiltern Music Therapy."
Please donate what you can
