Team Fundraisers
We are college students who are raising money for Southern brooks charity through a Raffle. Our idea is to hold a raffle where the prize is a piece of stone island clothing in the hope of gathering donations for charity. Tickets for the raffle will cost £1 each. Our goal is to reach a minimum of £100 raised for the charity, which is something we hope you can help us reach.
Dates
The raffle will take place on the 15th may and will be held at 12:30pm to 1pm, with donations available for the whole day. The event will take place at the SGS Filton campus in the business corridor. BS34 7AT. Any donations made are appreciated as we are looking to raise as much as possible. Contact details will be required so we can inform you if you win a prize and cannot attend the event. About the charity
Since 1988, Southern Brooks have been working to bring communities together, engaging with people to help them reach their full potential. They achieved this through active partnership, working to create changes that lead to stronger families, healthier communities, increased independence and people having greater say in the decisions that affect them. They have always worked with the needs of the community and developed a Theory of change to better understand how our work changes lives.
Your donations will: help provide a welcoming, friendly safe space where people can relax and thrive, whilst learning about (and taking part in) the growing cycle, food production and cooking, in a safe and inclusive way. The focus of the charity is to support people who are navigating anxiety, depression, physical health challenges, dementia, loneliness or caring responsibilities. The money donated will go directly to helping pay for gardening equipment for people taking part. This includes buying equipment for those with disabilities as well so they can also take part.
