Help us raise £20,000 to mark 20 years of Petworth Community Garden and the wonderful projects it runs for the Community.

This might sound like a lot, but the ongoing rises in costs, plus high competition for funding, means that without your support there is a real possibility that we will have cut back or close some projects this winter - at a key time when people really depend on us!

However, with your help we know we can get through this winter, and keep our Garden open and reduce food poverty, provide fresh fruit and veg, give mental health support and social support to those in the Petworth Community.

We are a small community garden, but with a big heart and we help over 140+ people each year in times of crisis or who may have additional needs.

Our projects:

  1. Learn & Grow - accessible food growing project open to those with disabilities, with a share of harvest to take home

  2. Harvest Food Boxes - weekly fruit & veg boxes for families in food poverty

  3. Men's Shed - mental health support for men through woodwork projects

  4. Thriving Thursdays - Socially prescribed, horticultural therapy to support mental health

  5. Stepping-Stones-to-Work - skills and training to help people get employment

  6. Jammy Dodgers - intergenerational jam and chutney making project

  7. Plot-to-Plate - cookery lessons to make cheap, healthy meals

By supporting us, you can help make sure we can continue to be a lifeline for people that need us, such as one of our Learn & Grow participants:

“Before, I kept thinking that I don't want to be in life, but then I came to the garden, it's a lovely place and I could think straight again. It's all nice people here and I feel comfortable now."

Thank you for your support!
