About
Members, staff and volunteers of the Reading Mencap Gateway Club will be taking part in the Green Park Challenge on Sunday 17th March 2019. Gateway Club is a peer led activity group for adults with a learning disability, taking part in meaningful, fun and empowering activities. The group is supported by valued staff and volunteers. The money raised will go towards helping the Gateway Club to continue to provide these vital opportunities that individuals may not otherwise get.
The Green Park Challenge is a 3k fun run open to all to walk, jog or run around. Reading Mencap Gateway Club have taken part in the Challenge in previous years and look forward to completing it again this time!

About Green Park Challenge
The Green Park Challenge is a fun run which is estimated to be just under 3km and is open to all the family. From serious athletes wanting a shorter race, to complete beginners wanting to have fun, get fit and raise money for charity all at the same time. The start time is 8:30am. ChampionChip timing will be used for all competitors, so everyone will get their position and race time.
