I shall be running the Bognor Prom 10K on 22 May 2022. Not a big deal in itself, but the race's charity partner very much is. Based in Bognor Regis, 'Frame of Mind' supports local adults with a wide range of mental health issues, dementia and learning disabilities.
Lorna Corbett said, "Our Dad has dementia. At the beginning of 2019 when Mum found Frame of Mind CIC, it truly felt like a ray of light in the dark. Here were kind human beings opening their framing business to people with dementia, mental health issues and learning disabilities. This meant that Dad could do something practical, was kept busy and had that sense of achievement and accomplishment which was not often possible. It also gave Mum a break for a few hours a week when she knew that Dad was safe, happy and looked after."
