Celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee this is an annual enjoyable family day out that involves the local community; whether through taking part, volunteering or helping with preparations & decorations for the day. A choice of a 1 or 3 mile country walk followed by a festival that is open to non walkers too. The festival provides a showcase for young musicians and dancers, with plenty of other entertainment on site including art & craft activities, fun fair, refreshments & stalls.

Why they need our service

Without this activity Rosie's Helping Hands could not provide much needed help, support and funds to small voluntary groups helping them to provide facilities and services to children and young people in the Walsall, Birmingham and Black Country areas.

Plan and expected results

We hope to attract over 1,000 people of all ages to the event and help us to raise £15,000. This money will be distributed to local voluntary projects working with children and young people to enable them to continue and develop the fantastic work they do in the community.
