Team Fundraisers
Our Place Team Members Stella and Claire have joined together to take part in this weekend’s Royal Sutton Fun Run to raise funds for Our Place Support.
Over the last two years the Our Place Mentoring Scheme have supported more children and young people than ever before with mental health challenges and are regularly seeing 60 children and young people on a 1-2-1 basis.
Furthermore our Advice Service continue to support people with benefits, housing and unemployment issues. This service too has seen a dramatic increase in the number of people reaching out for support post pandemic and as a result of the current cost of living crisis we are all living through.
As fundraising events have been unable to take place over the last two years the opportunity for Our Place Support to raise the income needed to continue our support has been vastly reduced and so we are thrilled to see the Royal Sutton Fun Run back on!
