All done Sat 20th March... tough tough in parts but amazing support crew. Thank you so much gor donating..
Its getting closer....2 training weekends left then the real thing.....please donate if you can, raising money for Chilten is now my main motivation to carry on pushing through the last few hard weeks xx
What to focus on in lockdown3....a hugely challenging feat for me of upping my running mileage from the usual 3-6miles to 20miles... I'm well on my way with training now but with only 8 weeks remaining until the big event I need something to help me focus and maintain my motivation to get out there and put in the miles whatever the weather.
Chiltern Music Therapy is an award winning, not-for-profit organisation that provides music therapy and community music to people of all ages across the UK. They are also my employer and a wonderful and supportive place to be. We work with the most vulnerable adults and children in society and our work has been hugely affected by the pandemic. But, we are still out there, providing online sessions, written home programmes and face-to-face sessions where safe to do so. We have a subsidy budget to provide our music therapy services to those who have no way of funding it themselves, enabling as many people as possible to access our services regardless of their ability to pay.
If you can, please donate to enable more people to access our services. It will also be massively important in maintaining my motivation to push on through the physical and mental barriers to get me to complete the event in March. #RunCathRun
