The protection fairies have morphed and grown in numbers to become ……. Santa!! We are taking part in the fun 5k Santa Run which will see us trying to negotiate ten giant inflatable obstacles to flip, bounce & boing our way to the finish line!!
We are fundraising for FIND (Families IN Need) who helps those living in Ipswich and surrounding areas that are deprived of a minimum standard of living, be they single, families, lone parents, children, elderly, sick, disabled or homeless. FIND provides, free of charge to those who they support, food, household items, furniture, nursery equipment (e.g. cots and nappies), beds and bedding and, when available, cookers, washing machines and refrigerators. Their work is often based on time-critical needs – for example if an individual or family is suddenly placed in accommodation without any furniture or cookware.
Every penny (or pound!) really does count :-)
