The Mentoring for Youth Safe Passage Scholarship provides up to £500 per child (with potential to increase through higher fundraising) to support youth affected by conflict, displacement, and family crisis. The scholarship covers school fees, skills training and equipment for educational projects or entrepreneurship.
What We Will Provide
School Fee Support - For those who have lost access to funds for education
Educational Resources - Replacement of lost equipment or resources
Youth Mentoring Network - Support system to help transition into adulthood
Skills Training - Support for self-employed youth needing help to get back on track
Youth Mentoring: Every scholarship recipient receives online youth mentoring support as part of the scholarship.
Who we will help
We will Primary focus this scholarship on youth aged Ages 10-25, however if funds become available we can widen the age range to for help with school fees.
Scholarship Recipients must be:
- Self-supporting student OR has lost their support system due to conflict or disaster
- Support system has lost employment or business due to crisis
- Recommended by a school, organization, or local leader
- Or a young person who had demonstrated commitment, innovation, creativity, and responsibility towards their talents, skills, and ambition
100% Donation Policy
Funds will be paid directly to an authorised registered businesses or outlets and families must provide invoices from legitimate vendors. No direct cash payments to individuals
