Hi everyone,
For a number of year's I've been aware of a local organisation called Jeremiah’s Journey. They are a charity that offers support and information to children and their families that have experienced or are anticipating the death of someone special.
They deal with many families each year and always aim to support children through their grief in a way that is most appropriate to each individual family.
Sadly this service is one that will always be needed and they need our support to make sure they can be there for every child and their family who needs them.
In a moment of madness earlier this year I agreed to take part in the planned abseil from the top of the Canonteign Falls up near Exeter. If you're not aware this is England’s highest manmade waterfall which descends for over 70m or 220 feet! For those who don't know the falls but know Plymouth - this is somewhat higher than the Civic Centre!!!!
I am it has to be said totally petrified but feel it's for a fabulous cause so hope you can dig deep into your pockets and sponsor me.
Love to all
Sam
