This month, I have decided to take part In June-a-thon to raise money for RT Projects. RT Projects are a local charity, based in Gilesgate, Durham. They provide a happy, safe and creative space for people experiencing challenges in their mental health, supporting them to develop emotional resilience and coping strategies.
I have been a Trustee for RT Projects for a number of years now and I am incredibly proud of the wonderful space they have created within our community.
Our mental health is just as important as our physical health and it is for this reason that I have chosen an activity which I find both physically and mentally challenging. For my Be Boulder Challenge, I will be attempting to complete 24 different bouldering routes throughout the month of June. This is particularly difficult for me as I have just recently begun my bouldering journey and chose to do this as a way to try and combat my fear of heights. Wish me luck and please donate what you can. Even the smallest of donations can help us to help somebody else.
