The Walnuts Infants Department is looking to employ a local artist to work with the Infants in creating life-size cut-outs of themselves, to display along the railings outside the school entrance. The children would draw a design, which would be enlarged and cut out of plywood, and then painted and varnished. The cut-outs would brighten up the exterior, and provide a fun, creative project for the pupils and staff to take part in.
Why they need our serviceThe Walnuts Infants Department is based in Hertford Place, Bletchley. The building currently doesn't look like an Infants school from the outside. The school would like to change this, and make the exterior more colourful and "child-friendly".
Plan and expected resultsTo create colourful, weather-proof and durable life-size cut-outs of the children, for staff, pupils, parents and visitors to enjoy.
