I'm participating in the Manchester 10k run @ Etihad Stadium on the Sunday 9th July 17.
My chosen charity for fundraising is "Twinkle House, Lancashire", who provide support for children with disabilities and special needs.
I am supporting this charity in memory of my friend Ann baby son "Paul" , who sadly passed away aged 13 months old RIP. He would have had so much enjoyment from this centre but unfortunately nothing like this was around during that time.
It is so nice to see the children having so much enjoyment at Twinkle House and its give me great pleasure to raise has much money as I can for this great charity to help the unfortunate children who will benefit from this centre.
TWINKLE HOUSE Ltd aims to:
To provide multi-sensory facitlities
Provide a Specialist Resource/Toy Library
Provide practical support and strategies to inprove the emotional well-being of children and young people with Disabilities and Additional Needs.
Provide family and carer support services, including information and advice
Provide a Multi-sensory facility to persons with any degree of disability sensory or other impairment or for the purpose of leisure time activities.

Twinkle House provides 1:1 targeted support, sleep support and therapeutic group classes for children and young people 0 -19 with Disabilities and Additional Needs to increase their resilience and improve their emotional mental health and well-being. Also providing emotional support, advice and strategies to parents and carers. In addition, we provide other facilities for all to use including; Sensory Rooms, Sensory Hydrotherapy Pool, Therapy Room and Cafe area "
