This weekend, Dr Shorrock is attempting to take on the UKs biggest ultramarathon along the ridgeway, starting in Lewknor and racing towards the 5,000-year-old Avebury Standing Stones - a total distance of 100km. Starting at 08:30 on Saturday morning, Dr Shorrock will attempt to complete this in 16-20 hours (heat-dependent - it is going to be hot, hot, hot!).
